Sustainable community economic enterprises include increasing homestead food security, homestead jobs creation, workforce development (training, education, skills building), and sustainable and revenue-generating beneficiary-owned economic enterprises. Grant proposals may cover a broad range of areas in community economic enterprises including dedicated staff, programmatic, start-up operations, materials/supplies, equipment, and construction.
