McIntosh Power Plant Cooling Tower Distribution System Replacement

The City of Lakeland, Lakeland Electric (OWNER), is seeking qualified contractors to provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the replacement of the existing cooling water distribution system at McIntosh Power Plant. The work generally consists of removing the existing header piping, lateral piping, and spray nozzles and furnishing and installing a complete new distribution system. The work will be performed during the Spring 2027 (April 30-May 17) scheduled outage. The Contractor will be required to coordinate closely with Lakeland Electric and complete the work within the established cooling tower availability window to support scheduled unit startup Review the official project, eligibility, response instructions and all addenda before acting.
