Municipal Marshals
OpenGov · RFP. The City of New Haven seeks proposals from currently appointed Connecticut state marshals for inclusion on the City’s annual Municipal Marshals List. Selected marshals will provide accurate, timely and legally compliant service of process for City departments, agencies, boards, commissions, attorneys and other authorized parties acting on behalf of the City. Services may include subpoenas, summonses, complaints, writs, executions, foreclosure documents, municipal personal-property tax warrants, building, housing, health and zoning notices, and other official process. Assignments may require travel and service outside the City of New Haven when legally authorized. Pursuant to Article XI Review the official project, eligibility, response instructions and all addenda before acting.
