Currently, the City of New Smyrna Beach belongs to a self-insured pool and is not an independently self-insured entity. The pool purchases insurance and the pool has self-insured retention. The annual invoice is billed solely to the City and deductibles will be paid per claim. The City intends to select a qualified firm to provide professional Insurance Consultant Services. The selected consultant will: Review the City's allocation of insurance assets, premiums, and coverage needs. Assist with the development and administration of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Ci Review the official project, eligibility, response instructions and all addenda before acting.
