This is a three-year agreement for the harvesting of palmetto fronds from approximately 14,377 acres within the Dexter/Mary Farms Tract of Lake George State Forest (see attached map). Fronds may be harvested from saw palmetto (Serenoa repens), dwarf palmetto (Sabal minor) and scrub palmetto (Sabal etonia). Bids for this sale should be made on a per year basis and payments will be made on the anniversary date of the contract.
