The intent of this procurement is to establish a consistent furniture standard suitable for continuous twenty-four-hour public-safety occupancy. All products shall be new and unused current-production products. Furniture shall be commercial-duty, durable, cleanable, serviceable, and suitable for high-use fire station living environments. Equal or greater capability products may be accepted when they meet or exceed the requirements stated herein and provide a substantially similar coordinated appearance.
