The City of Chesapeake Department of Emergency Management in an effort to assure readiness when responding to emergencies and major disasters, is seeking bids from private industry (companies and other businesses or organizations) who have a desire to provide goods and services in time of need for public safety and well-being of the citizens of the City of Chesapeake. The resulting contract(s) will be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contracts as the City is unable to determine the exact amount of goods and or services needed. The resulting contracts will be used to help the City respond to emergencies, whether natural or man-made, as defined in the Code of Virginia, §44-146.16 a Review the official project, eligibility, response instructions and all addenda before acting.
