The City of Sarasota (City) is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2027, and the auditing of its financial statements for each of the two subsequent fiscal years. These audits are to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America, the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, and Chapter 10.550, Rules of the Auditor General for the State of Florida.
